Tyler started taking concertina lessons from Lester Bondowski at the age of nine. After only three years of lessons Mr. Bondowski informed Tyler he now needed to practice to get his own style of playing. Since then he has played at local nursing homes, King’s Veteran Home in Waupaca, church services, Art’s Concertina Bar in Milwaukee, Mickster’s Bar in Shawano, Zelinski’s Ballroom in Pulaski (with Alvin Styczynski), Clintonville Lanes for public Sweetheart/Valantines dances, Romy’s Nitingale in Black Creek (with Tuba Dan Jerabek), public jam sessions, live on WTKM at Allenton World Congress Concertina Hall of Fame festival and most recently with Pan Franek’s band at the Pulaski Polka Days.

In February 2011 as a Junior in high school Tyler started the Truck Town Polka Sounds band. The three to five piece band plays a wide variety of polkas, obereks, waltzes and fox trots.

In 2011 Tyler receive the Jr. Youth Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame.
